Scilo is a German manufacturer of disposable medical instruments in the fields of OPHTHALMOLOGY, SURGERY and GYNECOLOGY.
The company SCILO Vertriebs GmbH was founded in 2004 and has now been in business for 20 years. Since then, they have evolved from a supplier of dressing accessories to a reliable manufacturer and supplier of high-quality ophthalmic and surgical disposable instruments.
The ophthalmological disposable instruments are individually packed in a sterile collection box of 20. They offer a wild range of high-quality ophthalmic instruments such as Eye speculum, Eye marker, Eye protection shell, Iris scissors, Meibomian forceps, Eye scissors, etc. and kits including the sterilized instruments of your choice can be produced.
Why SCILO disposable instruments?
- Cleaning and disinfection through validated CLEANING in RDG: To remove manufacturing residues such as oils and greases, lubricants, dust and bones from the brand-new instruments, all of our metal instruments are cleaned in an RDG (cleaning and disinfection device) in a process validated for SCILO single-use instruments.
- Reduce costs through disposable instruments: The costs for any necessary maintenance (e.g. repairs) are eliminated. The costs for cleaning in-house or by a service provider and subsequent packaging, steam sterilization, or sometimes delivery costs to the service provider and documentation are eliminated or reduced.
- The SCILO German quality: Always a new instrument – comparable in appearance and quality to reusable instruments. - Sterility through ETO: During ETO sterilization (ethylene oxide gas), all germs/microorganisms are killed. The instruments and the instrument environment within the sterile packaging are thus germ-free. Infections caused by using our instruments are absolutely impossible.
